Something unique. Is what this years Eurovisions were for Finland. For once we had a good song and did fairly decent and i really think its a pity we didn't do better than that. Of course i had a little extra support for our contestant due to him being from the area and a sibling of a friend but still i personally found that the song definitely belonged in the top 5. I actually feel a bit silly for the fact that a good while back when he promised over facebook that in case he would get into the Eurovisions he would promise that he would sing something that doesn't sell on skin, love theme or huge pyro effects, and i of course thought that it would never work. Well, he proved me wrong. And that is just great.
On another note, Azerbaijan, ins't that supposed to lie in Asia? I mean, the song wasn't bad, actually it was great and im really glad they won, but still its a bit silly if the contest is supposed to be European. Same goes for Israel.
Anycase. It was fun even though we had to watch the show over a livefeed instead of TV, which in turn meant that we had to move sofas and tables and the apartment looked like a mess. The food and the rest of the night made up for that trouble though.
Congratulations Axel, you did well.
