So i got saved by the most awesome tobeinlaws i could ever think of as I get to stay over at their place and the water ain't no worry today. And tomorrow im going over to a friends place where they still have electricity and their own well for water to play board games and bathe sauna and if im lucky the problems should be sorted by then.
To those of you who aren't from around the block. The storm left some 300 000 people without electricity and apparently also a whole deal of people were left without water because of some of the water pumps being inside the areas that were left without electricity. It's been pretty funny to read how people have dealt with the problem as people start relying on each others and some come up with their own solutions.
I guess its about to be bedtime with Miss "Im going to sleep next to you, whether you want it or not!".

Messy Holidays
So wait.
Its a while since i last wrote but for the most part stuff has been like the old good usual until the holidays started for me too. I worked until 23. (actually till 24. since i was out DJing the night between 23. and 24.) and the last weeks were just a huge mess since we did two different plays with the kids. One for the fourth graders and another for the fifth graders. At the end they turned out pretty ok and the lazy days started off with a load of presents from the kids families.
24. was a terrific time as we spent Christmas together with Jonnas family over at her grandparents. Lots of food, card playing, visiting the cemetery and bathing sauna and of course presents. Later in the eve we visited my parents and sisters and then went home to take it real easy. Great times even though the living room still looks like mess since i have no clue where to put all the presents. :D
Christmas day simply went by, perfect. And then disaster struck. You see, we had a storm this night and due to things flying around and trees falling down a good deal of people seem to be out of electricity, which of course means to be without water too. I guess i can consider myself lucky since i do have electricity, most other areas around seemed to be dark, but seeing that apparently the water pump in the area is powered by different grid than the houses (or something else has happened) it's going to be tough times as there's quite a limit on food to cook without water and natural needs of the toilet sort turn into a real issue. Also the cables of the house seems to be screwed since i can't get internet or TV either.
So now im over at Jonnas and trying to figure out some sort of plan on how to manage at least a day. Tomorrow is going to be another problem.

Ih bin ein gastarbeiter
Its midnight soon and im sitting on Jonnas bed listening to her typing away at a project that is due tomorrow. It's actually pretty cozy even though the whole evening has passed working on the project. Not exactly what we planned but since it has to be done we just have to get it done. :)
The past days have been pretty good. I've got an awesome advent calendar where i've found some pretty funny and also some pretty useful stuff. Its like being a kid again when you go to sleep thinking what you might find the next morning.
There was a pretty funny incident at work again. The school has claimed to be a "candy free school" and even seemed like one for a good while. But then of course, everything that is forbidden is twice as fun. Until you get caught.
It all started with me walking around the schoolyard and noticing a few boys whispering and hiding something. Then one of them made the mistake of saying the magical words "as long as no teacher finds out", after this I was all ears and sneaked up on them. When they noticed me they first tried to hide what they were holding, a plastic bag with something in it, but once i demanded to see what it was the holder dashed away. Being always as creative as the kids i set to the chace. After a short chace the boy tossed away his jacked with the plastic bag in it. I grabbed the jacket while wrestling away his friends that tried to jump on my back and grab the bag and then ran away from them while waving the plasticbag trimphantly above me.
Now this was only the beginning as when i realized the bag was filled with candy i started demanding an explanation. First there was some excuse about the candy being for after school but already during the next break when the word started to go around that "I was onto something" some of the kids acidentally spilled the beans out on the fact that half of the class was hiding candy.
This, I thought, would turn into something really funny and so during the next lesson i declared that i knew that they were hiding candy and i knew that some had been threatening to snitch on the others and so had techically threatened the others so they could get some candy too. After this i demanded everyone to bring all candy and wrapping papers they posessed to me. And what a pile it was! I seriously had no clue they were hiding so much of it. :D
When the cat was out of the bag it became clear that the kids had actually been running a huge "illegal" candy business with blackmailing and horrendously overprized goods. The worst part was trying to look serious when i talked to them because to me it all just seemed so funny and silly and awesome.
The best part though must have been when i carried the pile of candy and wrapping papers to the teachers lounge and the collegue who had been so proud about this "candy free school" thing asked me what kind of lesson i had had when i was carrying so much candy around (maybe she even thought that we had had some kind of party) and i simply replied to her that "we had a candy free school lesson". The expression on her face was priceless :D
Hoohum... The project seems done now. So i guess its time to start rolling towards home. Gotta say im really looking forward to tomorrow again. ^_^
