Fade into darkness

So today's gig was useless. The people made no sense at all and seemed to enjoy the most random songs without any logic. The request of the day award once again went to a person who said "play something good!". Well, at least i wasn't the only one feeling shitty. A bartender who's become a friend of mine even ended up being attacked by a customer who first had called him names and when he had been escorted out turned around and tried to hit him in the face. At least i have a few fans who brighten up my day every now and then. As for the title of the post, that was the closing song for the night.

So we all went home wishing each other a better night tomorrow.

Now i just want to go to sleep so i can wake up and take it easy with the girl tomorrow. It's funny how love works, it seems like an endless source of happiness.
